Initial Consultation

The process starts when you invite our painting contractor inside your home for an initial walkthrough consultation. We’ll ask questions to understand your vision, discuss paint types/colors, and identify any problem areas that may require extra preparation work. This is also an opportunity for us to provide a more accurate painting estimate based on on-site measurements and observations. Our consultations are completely free of charge and with no obligation to hire us.

Detailed Quote

After the initial meeting, we put together a detailed painting quote outlining the full scope of work and cost breakdown. This will specify which rooms/areas are included, exactly how many coats of paint are estimated, what paint brands/finishes will be used, and a timeline for completion. We will also note any necessary drywall repairs, caulking, masking, or other prep work that may impact overall cost. You can approve the full quote or request modifications until you’re completely satisfied.

Preparation

Once contracted, our painters arrive on the scheduled start date to begin thoroughly prepping the painting areas. This includes but is not limited to:

• Lightly scraping peeling/chipping paint
• Sanding down high texture surfaces
• Filling holes, cracks and imperfections
• Removing outlet/switch plate covers
• Covering/masking baseboards, floors, furniture etc.
• Clearing debris from exterior painting spaces

Proper prep work is crucial for achieving quality long-lasting paint job results. Our crews never take shortcuts here.

Priming Coats

Next, we apply high-adhesion primer paints to surfaces in need. Primer helps the new paint better adhere to walls for maximum durability and longevity. We may recommend using specialty primers for heavily damaged drywall, new wood construction, or masonry exterior walls. Primer coats also often require light sanding before painting can begin.

Painting

Now the fun part! With prep work completed, we start methodically cutting-in paint along edges with angled brushes. We then use top-grade rollers and extension poles to quickly apply smooth and even paint coats over the broader open areas. Paint is carefully applied according to manufacturer specs to avoid any dripping, splattering, or uneven coverage. We take pride in the quality of every paint job we produce.

Clean Up & Inspection

As painting nears completion, we thoroughly clean the workspace and remove all equipment, drop cloths, and leftover materials. You can then walkthrough to inspect our work and verify satisfaction. We will promptly make any final touch-ups if needed before providing final payment. Your home will look absolutely stunning!
